2026 Season Preview:
We've made it through to the final unsolicited preview of SEWIFFL teams for 2026. Last but certainly not least are Jim and Ryan. Was the wait worth it? That's for you to decide. 2025 Record: 2-12
Last season was forgettable at best for Ryan. There's no better candidate for "leave the past in the past" as he looks to have a huge revenge tour in 2026.
Starting with the QB position, Ryan has PLENTY of options here. Going with the patented George-3QB technique, he boasts a trio of startable options at signal caller. Jaxson Dart had a really solid rookie campaign once he took over the Giants offense. And that was a solid season without the help of Malik Nabers. Nabers went out and Dart came in. A full season together should boost both their performance numbers. Jayden Daniels had a bad season last year. He only played 7 games and was hit with a disgusting arm injury at one point. Assuming Daniels is healthy we should see him safely in the QB1 tier, especially with his rushing floor(891 yards as a rookie.) Baker Mayfield is the safe, reliable, veteran of this group. Baker isn't a guy that is much of a threat to go get 30 points, or even 25 for that matter. But he is a guy to slot in if you need a safe 17 points. He's playing for a new contract with Tampa Bay, so its not out of the question that his numbers go up seeking an even bigger QB pay rate.
Ryan took a calculated risk picking Ashton Jeanty 5th overall in the midst of the Jeanty injury prayer circle aftermath on draft day. News came out the next day that the injury was not serious and that Jeanty should be healthy by week 1, if not shortly thereafter. Jeanty should get plenty of work even if Vegas is going to be a bad football team this year. Quinshon Judkins is another tale of good RB on a bad team. Judkins was stuck in a near 50-50 split last year, but it seems he's starting to separate himself from the competition, so expect that spread to go Judkins' way at least a bit this season. Jaylen Warren will be splitting work with Rico Dowdle, but that comes to the surprise of no one. Pittsburgh shared the workload between Warren and Kenny Gainwell the last couple years, so this is par for the course.
AJ Brown gets a fresh start on his career and moves from an excellent QB to one that has elite arm talent. This, combined with being the big dog in the WR room, should spell success for Brown. Jameson Williams had a fantastic 2025 campaign and looks to match or better that this season. He's still a boom or bust guy, as a goose egg isn't out of the question in any given week for Jamo. He's a deep threat, home run, guy who will look to take the top off of defenses who have to figure out which Detroit weapon to focus on. Christian Watson fills a similar roll for Green Bay, he's the deep threat and averaged nearly 20 yards per catch over the last two seasons. If he can stay on the field, he can make the leap to a solid WR2, but the zero weeks will still be a very real threat. Deebo Samuel rounds out the WRs for Ryan. I don't know if his head is on straight, but he can still play football at a high level.
The TEs are a couple of guys who have a new home for the 2026 season. Isaiah Likely reunites with John Harbaugh in New York and should be a favorite target for Jaxson Dart once they get some report together. He was never really able to break out in Baltimore, but part of that has to be playing second fiddle to Mark Andrews, when Andrews was healthy. Chig Okonkwo is another guy who you could see the potential, but poor QB play held him back. Moving to Washington and getting in with Jayden Daniels should allow us to see if it was QB play or Chig himself causing the stunted numbers.

2025 Record: 9-5
Jim found himself in the playoffs last year for the first time in the Sleeper era. Unfortunately he ran into a buzzsaw named Sam(or possibly Sam's daughter...we don't really know who the brains of the operation is.) If Jim continues improving expect a deep playoff run from Big Nix Energy.
I'm personally sky high on Dak Prescott for fantasy football. He's gonna throw for roughly a million yards, and has elite options to throw the ball to. There's no reason, save for injuries, to think that Dak won't have a phenomenal fantasy season. The Cowboys themselves will probably finish like 7-10, but the stats will be there.
I really wanted to see Breece Hall in a different uniform this year. All signs pointed that way too...that was until the Jets showed up with a contract worth $45 million. The Jets will be bad, but for fantasy football's sake hopefully Geno Smith can do decent enough at QB to keep defenses off of Breece Hall...or at very least force them to respect the passing threat. The Tampa Bay RBs can be a bit concerning, mostly because there's always been a bit of a committee there. This year that committee is Bucky Irving and Kenny Gainwell. Gainwell is proven at the position, Bucky showed borderline RB1 numbers as a rookie, if he can bounce back to that form that will create a gap between himself and Gainwell leaving Gainwell to be a true backup. Tony Pollard isn't an exciting back, but he's safe. 1000 yards in each of the past 4 seasons. Its safe to assume he'll be right in that 1000 yards and 5 TD range again. Not sexy, but startable and safe.
Justin Jefferson was the biggest victim of the McCarthyism in Minnesota last season. He barely scratched 1000 yards and found the endzone just twice. Expect those numbers to explode with Kyler Murray at the helm for the Vikings. Even though Kyler is a middling QB, he's SO much better than Nine. Jettas should find himself back in WR1 tier contention. Drake London seems to have all the makings of a tier 1 player, but QB play has also held him back. Injuries played a part last season as well, but Tua is getting the keys to start the season and that should be a good thing for London. Signs point to Jaylen Waddle having a great season playing with Bo Nix. Nix, as I've stated over and over, is proving to be an excellent quarterback and now has another weapons to play with. Jim's bench provides a good parachute for his team in case of injury, DK Metcalf, Wan'Dale Robinson, Alec Pierce, and Dontayvion Wicks are all startable options if the top guys are out or on bye.
Tucker Kraft slots in as the real threat at TE for Jim. He might be getting comfortable on his repaired knee to start the season, but once he is the Packers offense should start firing on all cylinders and running through Kraft. The Pack was a different offense after Kraft was placed on IR last season. Kraft was well on his way to a 1000+ yard, 10+ TD season before the injury.
