Week 12

Hello Gentlemen and Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours! I hope everyone is enjoying all of the football and an extraordinary amount of tan and brown foods.

Let's jump right into things. Last week's bonus: High QB Score. This one went to George via Trevor Lawrence. T-Law had his first really good performance of the season and put up 32.18 points. Congrats George!

This week we're looking for the biggest beatdown, the largest margin of victory takes home the money. Good luck!

So I'll admit, I have full on writer's block and don't know what to do for a write up this week. I didn't want to do the food comparison that I've done before. So I found some inspiration from the movies. I saw the newest entry to the Hunger Games series the other day(solid movie, btw. If you like the originals you'll probably like the new one)

So that said I entered everyone's team names into a Hunger Games simulator and let it run. Welcome to the SEWIFFL Hunger Games, may the odds be ever in your favor.

The Bloodbath

JJ JJ 1 kills Pinche Bendejo 1 with her own weapon.

Pack Attack 1 overpowers Dak Picks 2, killing her.

Day 1

JJ JJ 2 dies from hypothermia.

Night 1

No deaths occurred.

Day 2

Rated Eks 1 severely injures Powderhoundmals 1 and leaves her to die.

Rated Eks 2, Powderhoundmals 2, and Joe Buck 2 successfully ambush and kill Trash Pandas 1, Pack Attack 1, and Bart Was The Best 1.

Night 2

Pack Attack 2 shoots a poisonous blow dart into Trash Pandas 2's neck, slowly killing her.

Bearded Clams 1 accidently detonates a land mine while trying to arm it.

Day 3

No deaths occurred.

Night 3

No deaths occurred.

Day 4

JJ JJ 1 dies of dysentery.

Joe Buck 2 sets an explosive off, killing Frank's Spank Bank 2, Dak Picks 1, and Pinche Bendejo 2.

Night 4

No deaths occurred.

Day 5

Powderhoundmals 2 taints Joe Buck 2's food, killing her.

Bearded Clams 2 severely injures Cotch 2 and leaves her to die.

Night 5

No deaths occurred.

The Feast

Rated Eks 2 kills Cotch 1 with a hatchet.

Powderhoundmals 2's trap kills Pack Attack 2.

Bearded Clams 2 strangles Frank's Spank Bank 1 after engaging in a fist fight.

Bart Was The Best 2 falls into a pit and dies.

Day 6

Rated Eks 2 spears Joe Buck 1 in the abdomen.

Night 6

Rated Eks 1 sets an explosive off, killing Bearded Clams 2, and Rated Eks 2.

Day 7

Powderhoundmals 2 begs for Rated Eks 1 to kill her. She reluctantly obliges, killing Powderhoundmals 2.

The Winner

Congrats to District 10, Chris, Rated Eks. The first SEWIFFL Hunger Games winner. The odds were in your favor. Now you have to hope the Fantasy Odds are also in your favor.

And now back to actual fantasy football. For those of you that are in Sam's dynasty league, you know he ran his league through a fantasy football playoff calculator. Much like Hollywood there are no original ideas in fantasy football weekly write ups, so I did the same thing. Take these numbers with a grain of salt as its a totally separate website. Here's the results:

Those of you that are showing low playoff odds, your seasons aren't over. Your chance a title may be, but there's still a chance at contol of your draft position in the consolation playoffs. And possibly even more rewarding there's the role of playing spoiler. A chance to change the fate of your fantasy leaguemates and prevent them from even having a shot at the Superb Owl, that is priceless. Don't give up, continue making free agency and waiver claims, you never know what player picked up in week 14 as a shot in the dark might become the next Tom Brady.
