Week 14

Welcome to the regular season finale! I was expecting last week to sort things out a bit as far as the playoff picture goes, but it didn't. As best as I can tell we're pretty much in the same position as far as the last 2 playoff spots go. The minimum wins for the final playoff spot is going to be 15 and there's 3 teams that still have a shot at that, myself with 13, Ryan with 14 and Randy who is currently 6th and in with 15. Chris is currently 5th with 16 wins and Randy 4th with 17. By my math neither of them are technically safe yet, but just need to win straight up or against the median this week to secure their spot. 

Last week's bonus went to Randy who started the league leader in rushing this week, Isiah Pacheco. Congrats to Randy on his(I believe) league record 4th bonus this year. We're going to round out the bonuses in week 14 with the highest receiving total for an individual. We're also down to a two man race for the 2023 SEWIFFL Scoring title. Ben is currently 1st with 1686.1 points. Andy is the only other team with a reasonable chance and he comes into this week down 10 points, at 1676.68 points. My plan is to pay out bonuses right away after this week, so keep an eye on your messages/venmo/paypal accounts. Randy I'll have cash for you at work.

Unfortunately our teams that are out don't have much chance to play spoiler this week as two of them are matched up. Zach can throw a monkey wrench into the playoff seeding with a victory over Randy. Bill has the most power as far as potential change. Bill is matched up against league leader Ben which could have bye week implications depending on what else happens. 

That's pretty much all I've got for you guys this week. When I'm knocked out of playoff contention in just under 4 days time I'll be sure to post the clip of Kevin from The League freaking out on his league mates, as is SEWIFFL Tradition. Best of luck to everyone this week, I'm hoping for a nail biter going into MNF somewhere in this league, although the Giants(and the Packers for that matter) aren't the most fantasy relevant teams this year. Expect a deeper playoff preview next week. I'm also planning on a large update of all time records as well as checking for any league and franchise records being broken.
